With a garden, picnic field and walks to explore further afield, Otterburn is the perfect place to get outdoors! Our secure garden positioned at the front of the historic mill buildings features a play area for little ones. Kids can climb, slide and explore to their hearts content while you enjoy a cuppa. Our large picnic field is also a great spot by the river to enjoy a bite to eat outdoors.
The fields and footpaths edging the former textile mill are perfect for a stroll. If you fancy walking a little further afield, there are several walking routes starting and finishing in the carpark at Otterburn Mill. Ranging from two miles to six miles, there’s a walk for every ability. These walks are a great way to explore the countryside, encompassing grasslands and public footpaths. Along the routes you might be fortunate enough to see otters, several species of birds and a diverse range of flowers.
